INFORM EU is a European network of communication officers responsible for the promotion of EU and Member State investments under shared management. The network covers several EU funds in the field of Regional Policy, Social Policy, Home Affairs and Maritime Affairs. In addition, the INFORM EU Network covers the Recovery and Resilience Facility, a temporary instrument to help Member States deal with the social and economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and build back better.
The network’s ultimate goal is to establish stronger cooperation between the Commission and EU programmes under shared management. Through an online platform, the members can exchange experiences and good practices, coordinate the communication activities and discuss the strategy to increase the outreach and impact of communication activities.
The network meets twice a year, and the next INFORM EU meeting will be held in person in Évora (Portugal) on 16-18 November 2022. The theme of the meeting is ‘Strategic Communication’.
Due to the capacity of the venue, the number of people who can join the event is limited. In case of too many registrations, the national coordinators will have the final say on who will be able to attend based on a quota per delegation and on a first come first served basis. Please note that this event will only be in person. There will be no possibility to follow it via live streaming (a recording of the plenary will be available afterwards).
The meeting is open to communication officers working on information and publicity issues in a Managing Authority or Joint Technical Secretariat (European Territorial Co-operation programmes).
